1. What We Collect
We only collect the information needed to run your claim tracker:
- Your email address and basic Google profile data when you sign in with Google.
- The details you upload from your statement of cover (insurer, plan name, member reference, plan year, benefit allowances and percentage rates).
- The claims you record, including dates, amounts, benefit categories and statuses.
2. How We Use Your Data
Your data is used solely to power the tracker: to show your allowances, calculate reimbursement estimates, display your claim history and keep everything in sync across your devices.
Private notes you write on a plan are stored against your own account only. Nobody else — not the plan owner and not anyone the plan is shared with — can read them.
If you share a plan from Settings, the person you invite can see that plan's insurer, allowances, plan year and covered people with their limits. Claim details (provider names, dates and amounts) are only shared for the covered person you link their invite to, unless you give them the Plan Admin role, which shows every covered person's claims. Access levels of Can log claims and Plan Admin also let them log or update claims. Their email address is stored so we know who the plan is shared with. Remove their access at any time from Settings.
We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties beyond the backend services that run the app.
To show your insurer's logo on a plan, your browser requests an image from Logo.dev using only the insurer's public website address. No personal, plan or claim details are sent, and you can clear the website field in Settings to switch to a plain initials badge instead.
3. Where Your Data Is Stored
Your information is stored in the app's managed backend database. It is protected by row-level security so only your authenticated account can read or change your records.
4. Your Rights And Controls
You remain in control of your data. You can update your plan details, edit benefits and claims, or permanently delete all of your plan and claim data from the Settings page at any time.
5. Document Uploads And Policy Documents
When you upload a statement of cover, the app sends it to an AI extraction service to read the plan details. The document is processed automatically and is not used to train any model.
Policy documents you attach to a plan are kept in private storage and are only ever opened through short-lived links issued to you or to people you have shared that plan with. When you use the definition look-up, the document is sent to the same AI service to find the exact wording of your question; it is not retained or used for training. You can delete a policy document at any time, which removes the stored file as well.
6. Changes To This Notice
We may update this notice as the app evolves. The latest version will always be available on this page.
